An end-to-end tenancy platform for two student lodges: a public site, a tenant portal and an admin approval centre that replaced paper-based intake and rent tracking.

  • Tenant portal for applications, tenancy agreements, rent status and payment history with downloadable PDF receipts
  • Admin Approval Centre with live counts, a room occupancy map and two-step caretaker → landlord payment verification
  • Paystack checkout with webhook verification, automatic numbered receipts and a daily rent-reminder scheduler
  • Email-verified sign-up, httpOnly JWT sessions, rate limiting, staff MFA and Playwright end-to-end tests

Leadership

Desmond Obe

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Desmond is an AI engineer and researcher with more than eight years across the engineering and IT sectors. He founded DesMind to turn advanced technology into secure, dependable systems.

He builds production machine-learning and retrieval-augmented generation systems as a Machine Learning Engineer at JutaLab, and has delivered cloud applications, Microsoft 365 operations and telecommunications network improvements across Australia and Nigeria. He is a PhD candidate in Artificial Intelligence and a Casual Academic at James Cook University, with research published in IET Power Electronics, the Journal of Power Electronics and Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution.
